The Alabama Legislature began operating a new website Monday, one that officials say will be easier to navigate for bill tracking and other purposes than the previous version.
A demonstration of the new website will be livestreamed this morning at 10 a.m. To watch it, go to the home page and click on the Livestreaming square, then click on the link for Room 200, where the demonstration will be held.
The ease of finding the video livestreams of meetings and hearings is one of the improvements with the new website. With the previous version, it took several steps from the home page to find the video feeds.
The Legislature has livestreamed more content over the last two years, partly because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The legislative session starts January 11.
