Thirty-three Shelby County students have been named National Merit Scholar Semifinalists. These students are competing against 16,000 other students across the country for 7,500 scholarship positions. It is a high honor to be named a semifinalist, and the Shelby County Legislative Delegation would like to congratulate our students on being semifinalists and wish them luck in the competition!
